Founding Dôme Cafes
Dôme was started in 1990 by three people: Patria Jefferies, Phil May, and Phil Sexton. Their very first cafe opened in the early 1990s. It was located on Napoleon Street in Cottesloe, a suburb of Perth.
Growing Across the World
By the early 2000s, Dôme had become a big name in Australia. It grew quickly and became a major player in the cafe scene. Today, there are more than 130 Dôme cafes. You can find them in about eight different countries around the world.
The main office for Dôme is in Maylands, Western Australia. It is located in a building that used to be the Peninsula Hotel, Maylands.
