The Early Learning House series is a group of fun educational video games. These games were made for computers like Windows and Macintosh. Theatrix Interactive, Inc. developed them, and Edmark software published them.
Each game in the series helps kids learn different important subjects. They have settings for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary students. The first game, Millie's Math House (1992), teaches math. Then came Bailey's Book House (1993) for language skills. Sammy's Science House (1994) focuses on science. Finally, Trudy's Time and Place House (1995) covers history and geography.
There's also a spin-off game called Stanley's Sticker Stories (1996). In this game, players can create their own animated storybooks using the characters from the series. Two special collections, Millie & Bailey Preschool and Millie & Bailey Kindergarten, combine activities from two of the main games.
These games let kids explore and learn on their own. They can also follow tasks given by the game characters. Players can even print pictures from creative activities. Some phonics activities let them record sounds. Later, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Learning Technology updated these games. They were re-released by The Learning Company with new graphics and more activities.
