East Conemaugh is home to the Conemaugh Valley Youth League. This league has offered baseball and softball programs since 1968. Before 1987, it was known as the "East Conemaugh Youth League."
- The baseball program is part of the Little League of Johnstown.
- The softball program plays in the Cambria-Somerset Fastpitch Softball League.
In 2008, the town council allowed the league to look into adding lights to their fields. This was because more and more kids were joining the programs. Just two years later, in 2010, the league started playing night games! This was made possible by a $20,000 grant from the State of Pennsylvania and help from other people who donated money.
