In 2020, the population of Eastpoint was 2,614 people.
Back in 2000, there were 2,158 people living in Eastpoint. At that time, there were 804 households, which are groups of people living together in one home. Most of these households (59.3%) were married couples. About 36.3% of households had children under 18 living with them.

This school is located right in Eastpoint.
Community Fire Incident
On June 24, 2018, a large, controlled fire happened near Eastpoint. This fire burned about 1,000 acres of land in just one day. Sadly, 36 families lost their homes because of this fire.
Many families who lost their homes were helped by the community. They found shelter at the Eastpoint Church of God, where the Red Cross assisted more than 175 people. Cleanup and rebuilding efforts began after the fire.
