Where Was Eastside?

Eastside was found about 3.5 miles (or about 5.6 kilometers) north of a town called Holtville. This area is in the southeastern part of California, known for its warm climate.

A Short History

Eastside had its own post office for a very short time. It opened in 1903, which means people living there could send and receive mail directly. However, the post office only stayed open for about a year. In 1904, the mail service for Eastside was moved to the nearby town of Holtville. This often happened when small settlements didn't grow much, and services were combined with larger, more established towns.
