Ebrar Karakurt is a talented Turkish volleyball player. She was born on January 17, 2000. Ebrar is 1.95 meters (about 6 feet 5 inches) tall. She plays in the "opposite" or "outside hitter" position. Currently, she plays for Lokomotiv Kaliningrad in Russia. She also represents the Turkey women's national volleyball team.

Ebrar Karakurt's Volleyball Journey
Playing for Clubs
Ebrar Karakurt began her volleyball career in Balıkesir, Turkey. She first played for a team called DSİ Spor. When she moved to Bursa, she continued playing volleyball. She joined her school team at Bursa Bahçeşehir Anadolu High School. At the same time, she played for Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor.
She played for Bursa BB in the 2014–15 Turkish Women's Volleyball League. Ebrar had special licenses that allowed her to play for both Bursa BB and Vakıfbank. She started in Vakıfbank's youth team. Later, she moved up to their main senior team.
Ebrar was part of the Vakıfbank team that won the 2017–18 CEV Women's Champions League. This is a very important European club competition. She played with Vakıfbank until 2020. Then, she moved to another Turkish team, Türk Hava Yolları.
Playing for the National Team
Ebrar also played for the Turkish U18 team. She competed in the 2017 Girls' U18 Volleyball European Championship. She also played in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship. At the world tournament, she was named one of the "Best outside spikers." This is a special award for players who are great at hitting the ball from the side of the court.
She also joined the Turkish U23 team. With this team, she played in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship. Her team won the gold medal in that tournament.
After these successes, Ebrar joined the main Turkish national team. She has helped her team achieve many great things. For example, they won a silver medal at the 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship. This big event was held in Ankara, Turkey. Before that, in 2018, she played in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. Her team also won a silver medal there.
