Lord Ed Taylor Hassell (born July 16, 1990 – died November 1, 2020) was an American actor. He was best known for his role in the 2013 movie Jobs. In this film, he played a young Chris Espinosa.
Life and Acting Career
Eddie Hassell was born in Corsicana, Texas. When he was young, he enjoyed riding in rodeos. Later, he moved to Los Angeles. There, he became a skilled skateboarder. He even used his skateboarding talents in commercials!
Eddie started his acting career in television. He played Phil Nance in ten episodes of the TV show Surface. For this role, he was nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2006. This award celebrates young talent in entertainment.
In 2010, Eddie appeared in the movie The Kids Are All Right. He played the character Clay.
One of his most famous roles was in the 2013 film Jobs. In this movie, he played a younger version of Chris Espinosa. Chris Espinosa was an important early employee of Apple Inc. Eddie also acted in the 2017 film Bomb City.
His Passing
Eddie Hassell passed away on November 1, 2020. He was 30 years old. He died in Grand Prairie, Texas, after a tragic incident.
