Eddie Robson (born 20 December 1978) is a British writer. He is best known for his comedy show Welcome to Our Village, Please Invade Carefully. He also writes for many Doctor Who stories.
Eddie has written books, comic books, and short stories. He has also written for television and theatre. He used to work as a journalist for different science fiction magazines. He is married and lives in Lancaster, England.

Becoming a Writer
Eddie Robson started writing comedy in 2008. He wrote for radio shows like Look Away Now and That Mitchell and Webb Sound.
His own comedy show, Welcome To Our Village, Please Invade Carefully, started on BBC Radio 2 in 2012. It was a big hit! The Radio Times newspaper called it "the sitcom success story of 2012". A sitcom is a funny TV or radio show about a group of characters. This show became a full series in 2013.
Writing for Doctor Who
Eddie Robson has written many stories for the Doctor Who universe. These include radio plays like Phobos and Human Resources. He also wrote CD stories such as Memory Lane and The Condemned.
He has also written short stories for Doctor Who books called Short Trips. You can find his Doctor Who comic strips in Doctor Who Adventures and IDW comics.
From 2007 to 2009, Eddie produced the Bernice Summerfield audio stories. He also wrote plays for this series. He has written for other audio series too, like The Diary Of River Song and Blake's 7: The Liberator Chronicles.

Besides Doctor Who, Eddie Robson has written other comic books. These include stories for 2000 AD, Transformers: Prime, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Captain America.
