The Edison Plaza is a tall, 17-story office building in downtown Beaumont, Texas. You can find it at 350 Pine Street. It's the newest and tallest skyscraper in the downtown area.

Discovering Edison Plaza

The Edison Plaza is a very important building in Beaumont. It stands out with its 17 floors. Many businesses have their offices here.

Who Built and Owns This Tower?

The Edison Plaza was first built by a company called Gulf States Utilities. They used it as their main office. Later, another company, Entergy Texas, took over. They still use some floors in the building.

However, Entergy Texas no longer owns the whole building. They only rent four of the 17 floors. The building is sometimes mistakenly called "The Entergy Building." But its real name is still Edison Plaza. Albanese Cormier Holdings now owns the building.

What Else Is Nearby?

Right on the grounds of the Edison Plaza, you can find the Edison Museum. This museum is dedicated to the famous inventor Thomas Edison. It's a great place to learn about his inventions.

New Signs on the Building

In November 2015, a bank called Capital One got the rights to put their signs on the building. This means you might see their logo high up on the tower.
