Edith Wilma Jean Conner (born September 5, 1935 – died November 28, 2020), known to many as Edith Conner, was an amazing American bodybuilder. She became famous for being the oldest competitive female bodybuilder in the world! In 2012, when she was 77 years old, the Guinness Book of World Records officially recognized her incredible achievement.

About Edith Conner

Edith Conner was born in Denver, Colorado, on September 5, 1935. She decided to start bodybuilding because she felt she was sitting too much at her job, which involved data entry. She wanted to be more active and healthy!

Her first bodybuilding competition was called the Grand Masters in Las Vegas. She entered it on her 65th birthday and won first place! This was a fantastic start to her bodybuilding journey. Edith also worked as a personal trainer, helping other people get fit and strong. She made sure to exercise at least three times every week and didn't follow strict diets.

Edith was married to Reuben for 57 years until he passed away in 2011. She had three sons, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Edith Conner passed away on November 28, 2020, when she was 85 years old.
