Eduardo Noriega Gómez (born August 1, 1973) is a Spanish actor. He became well-known in Spain for his role in the movie Thesis (1996). After that, he starred in other popular films like Open Your Eyes (1997) and The Wolf (2004).
In the United States, Eduardo Noriega is known for playing Enrique in the movie Vantage Point (2008). This film is a political thriller, which means it's an exciting story about politics and spies.

Early Life and Education
Eduardo Noriega was born in Santander, Spain. His father was from Mexico, and his mother was Spanish. He is the youngest of seven children, and he is the only one who became an actor.
When he was a child, Eduardo loved music. Later, he studied law at university. But he decided to leave his law studies and his passion for music to move to Madrid. His goal was to become an actor.
Acting Career Highlights
Eduardo Noriega started his acting journey in several short films. He worked with directors like Mateo Gil and Carlos Montero. He also had a small part in a famous Spanish film called Stories from the Kronen.
His first main role was in the movie Tesis (1996). This film became a huge success in Spanish cinema. The director, Alejandro Amenábar, later said he wasn't sure about casting Eduardo at first. He thought Eduardo was just a "pretty face." But his team convinced him, and Eduardo got the part. They became good friends and worked together again on Open Your Eyes.
Eduardo also starred in Plata Quemada (Burnt Money) (2000), an Argentine film. He later worked with the same director, Marcelo Piñeyro, in The Method (2005). In 2001, he played Jacinto in The Devil's Backbone. This movie was directed by Guillermo del Toro and was about an orphanage during the Spanish Civil War.
In 2005, Eduardo Noriega played the main character in an independent film called Che Guevara. In 2006, he appeared in Alatriste, a film based on popular novels. He played the role of Conde de Guadalmedina.
In 2007, he gained attention for his roles as twin brothers, Raúl and Valentín Fuentes, in Lolita's Club. The brothers had very different personalities. In 2008, he starred in the American film Vantage Point. He played Enrique, a Spanish police officer. His character played an important part in solving the mystery of an assassination.

Eduardo Noriega married his girlfriend, Trinidad Oteros, on February 8, 2011. They had been together for ten years before getting married.
He is a talented speaker and can speak four languages fluently: Spanish, English, French, and Catalan.
