Edward Albert Ram (born April 24, 1858 – died January 27, 1946) was an English footballer and a very well-known architect. He played football for a team called Clapham Rovers. He helped his team win the exciting 1880 FA Cup Final. Later, he became a famous architect in Hong Kong during the early 1900s. From 1885 to 1927, he worked as an architect there. He was part of a company called "Denison, Ram & Gibbs". This company designed many important buildings in Hong Kong. Some of these include the Matilda Hospital (built in 1906), parts of the University of Hong Kong (built from 1913 to 1915), the main building for Helena May (built in 1916), and the Repulse Bay Hotel (built in 1920). Edward Ram was born in Hammersmith, England. His father was James Ram, a private teacher, and his mother was Charlotte Ram.

The company "Denison, Ram & Gibbs" kept its name until it closed in 1933.
