Edward Young-min Kwon was born on February 10, 1972, in South Korea. He is a very famous chef who wants to share delicious Korean cuisine with people all over the world. Chef Kwon has worked as a top chef in many fancy hotels. These hotels were in places like the United States, China, and the Middle East.
Edward Kwon's Journey
Edward Kwon grew up in a coastal town called Gangneung in South Korea. He studied at Gangneung Yeongdong College before becoming a chef. His cooking journey began at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Seoul. In 2001, he moved to San Francisco to work at another Ritz-Carlton hotel.
When he was 32, Chef Kwon returned to Seoul. He became an executive sous chef at the W Hotel. Later, he moved to China and then to Dubai. In Dubai, he became the head chef at the amazing Burj al-Arab Hotel. Chef Kwon came back to Seoul in 2009. By 2011, he was hosting his own TV cooking show called Yes Chef.
