Edwin Hodge was born on January 26, 1985, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He grew up in New York. His mother is from Florida, and his father is from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Both of his parents served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Edwin also has a younger brother, Aldis Hodge, who is also an actor.

Edwin Hodge is famous for his role as "the Bloody Stranger" in the horror movie The Purge (2013). He continued this role in the sequels, The Purge: Anarchy (2014) and The Purge: Election Year (2016). In the third movie, his character's name was revealed to be Dante Bishop. He also appeared in the horror film As Above, So Below (2014). In 2018, he played Agent Danny Bell in the popular movie Bumblebee.

Recent TV Series

Edwin also played firefighter Rick Newhouse on the TV show Chicago Fire. In 2019, he was Clayton Poole in the Apple TV+ science fiction series For All Mankind. Since 2022, Edwin Hodge has been playing Special Agent Ray Cannon on the CBS series FBI: Most Wanted.

Edwin Hodge married actress Skye P. Marshall on June 29, 2024. Their wedding took place in Los Angeles.
