Aldis Alexander Basil Hodge (born September 20, 1986) is an American actor. He is known for many roles in movies and TV shows. Some of his most famous parts include Alec Hardison in the TV series Leverage, MC Ren in the movie Straight Outta Compton, and Levi Jackson in Hidden Figures.
Aldis Hodge also played Noah in the TV series Underground. He was Matthew in Girlfriends and Jim Brown in the film One Night in Miami.... More recently, he played Dr. Alex Cross in the TV series Cross. In superhero movies, he is known as Hawkman in Black Adam. He also voiced John Stewart / Green Lantern in the animated movie Green Lantern: Beware My Power.

Early Life and Hobbies
Aldis Hodge was born on September 20, 1986, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. His parents, Aldis Basil Hodge and Yolette Evangeline Richardson, both served in the U.S. Marine Corps. His mother is from Florida, and his father is from Saint Thomas. Aldis has an older brother, Edwin Hodge, who is also an actor.
When he was a child, Aldis played both the clarinet and the violin. He still plays the violin today. He went to the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. Besides acting, Aldis has many other talents. He designs watches, writes, and paints.
In 2018, he worked with a painter named Harmonia Rosales. They created a series of paintings called "Through the Looking Glass." These paintings were shown in Los Angeles. Aldis Hodge also taught himself how to make watches. He even designed his own brand of fancy watches called A. Hodge Atelier. He believes it is important to have more different kinds of people working in the watchmaking industry.
