Edwina Findley, who also uses the name Edwina Findley Dickerson, is an American actress. She is known for her roles in popular TV shows and movies.
You might have seen her in the HBO drama series The Wire and Treme. From 2014 to 2020, she was one of the main stars of the TV show If Loving You Is Wrong, where she played Kelly Isaacs.
Findley has also acted in many movies. She appeared in Middle of Nowhere (2012), the scary movie Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and the comedy Get Hard (2015). For her role in the 2015 movie Free in Deed, she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award.

Personal Life and Education
Edwina Findley was born in Washington, D.C.. She discovered her passion for acting early and went to the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. There, she studied musical theater.
After high school, she continued her studies at a famous art school. She graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In 2012, Findley married Kelvin Dickerson. She was also once a roommate of the famous actress Viola Davis.
Acting Career
Findley began her career on the stage, acting in plays. She then moved into television. Her first big TV role was on the HBO show The Wire from 2003 to 2004. This is called a "recurring role," which means she appeared in several episodes.
Over the years, she has appeared in many different TV shows. She had roles in Law & Order, Brothers & Sisters, and the superhero show Black Lightning.
