Eega (which means Fly in English) is an exciting 2012 Indian fantasy action film. It was directed by the famous filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli. The movie stars Nani, Samantha, and Sudeep. It was first released on July 6, 2012. The film was a big hit and got great reviews from critics.
The movie was made in two languages at the same time: Telugu, where it was called Eega, and Tamil, where it was known as Naan Ee. This made it popular with many different audiences.
Story of the Fly
The film tells a unique story about love and revenge. A young man named Nani has been in love with a kind woman named Bindu for two years. However, a powerful and evil businessman named Sudeep also wants Bindu. Sudeep is very jealous and decides to kill Nani.
But Nani's story doesn't end there! He is reborn as a tiny housefly. Even as a small fly, Nani remembers everything that happened. He decides to get revenge on Sudeep for taking his life. The rest of the movie shows how this little fly uses clever tricks to make Sudeep's life difficult and eventually get his revenge.
Making the Movie
The idea for Eega came from director S.S. Rajamouli's father about 14 years before the movie was actually made. It was a very creative and challenging idea to bring to life on screen.
Filming for Eega finally began on July 29, 2010. This was after director Rajamouli had finished his eighth movie, Maryada Ramanna. Making a film where a fly is a main character required a lot of special effects and new technology. The filmmakers worked hard to make the fly look real and expressive, which was a big part of the movie's success.
