Egor Nikolayevich Bulatkin (born June 25, 1994) is a popular Russian rapper, singer, and songwriter. You might know him better by his stage names Egor Kreed or Egor Split. He started his music journey as "KReeD" in 2014. Later, he became known as "Egor Kreed", and in 2024, he changed his stage name to "Egor Split".

His Early Life and Dreams
Egor Kreed was born on June 25, 1994, in Penza, Russia. His father, Nikolai Bulatkin, works at a company that makes nuts. His older sister, Polina, is also a singer and actress who lives in the United States. To follow his dream of becoming a singer, Egor moved to Moscow.
Egor wanted to be a singer from a young age, around 11 years old. This happened after he heard 50 Cent's song "Candy Shop". After finishing high school, he went to the Academy of Music Gnesinon Kreed to study music.
Starting His Music Career
Egor posted his very first song, "Lyubov v seti" (Love on the Net), on YouTube in July 2011. This video quickly became popular across Russia, getting millions of views. It was a big step for his career!
In March 2012, Egor won a music competition called "Star Vkontakte – Channel Five". He won in the "Best Hip Hop Project" group. He was chosen from over 1000 other artists and received more than twenty thousand votes. This win led to him performing his song "Vdokhnovenie" (Inspiration) in Saint Petersburg.
He gained even more fans by releasing a cover version of "Ne skhodi s uma" (Don't Be Mad). This song was originally sung by Timati, another famous Russian artist.
Joining Black Star Inc.
In April 2012, Egor Kreed signed with Timati's music label, "Black Star Inc.". His first song with the label was "Starletka" (Starlet), which came out in the spring of 2012. The music video for "Starletka" featured Miroslava Karpovich, a popular Russian actress.
Egor began performing at big venues in Moscow, like "Olympic" and "Luzhniki". He also performed at major music events such as Hip-Hop Unite and ELLO Festival. In April 2015, he released his first album, which was called Holostyak (The Bachelor).
His Popular Songs
By 2018, Egor had recorded around 60 songs. Some of his well-known tracks include "Nado li", "Samaya Samaya", "Nevesta", and "You're my galaxy".
On October 9, 2014, Egor Kreed released his biggest hit, "Samaya Samaya". This song had a more pop sound and quickly became number one on the Russian music charts. Its music video got over twenty million views on YouTube! In April 2015, he released another popular song, "Nevesta", with a music video directed by Aleksey Kupriyanov.
Egor has also worked with many other famous artists. He has recorded songs with Timati, Klava Koka, MOLLY, Morgenshtern, and Philipp Kirkorov.
Television Appearances
Besides his music, Egor has also appeared on television. He was on the TV show Холостяк (Kholostyak), which means The Bachelor.
