Company Growth
The company grew steadily over the years. In 2002, it made $144 million in sales, and $154 million in 2003. By 2015, the company's sales were estimated to be over $300 million.
Eileen Fisher Inc. has more than 1,200 employees. They have over 56 stores in fifteen different states across the United States.
Global Reach
In 2011, the company started to open stores outside the U.S. Their first Canadian store opened in Vancouver, British Columbia. They also opened stores in London, England, in October 2012. The company now sells its clothes in over 1,000 other stores and has 68 of its own retail stores.
Recycling Program
Eileen Fisher Inc. cares about the environment. To help reduce fabric waste, the company started a special recycling program. Customers can bring back their "gently used" Eileen Fisher clothes. For each item, they get a $5 gift certificate. After the clothes are cleaned, they are resold. The money earned from reselling these clothes helps fund business grants for women and leadership programs for young women.
