Mount Signal is a special mountain located in Baja California, Mexico. It stands about 20 km (12 mi) west of the city of Mexicali. This mountain is also known by other names, like "El Centinela" (which means 'the sentinel' or 'the guard') by many Mexicans. The native Kumiai people call it "Weeishpa."
The northern side of Mount Signal begins right at the border between Mexico and the United States. Its southern side is bordered by Mexican Federal Highway 2. This mountain is about 781 meters (2,562 feet) high. It is the northernmost peak of the Cocopah mountain range, also known as sierra cucapá.
