El Plan is a district in the Spanish city of Cartagena. It is located in the eastern part of the city. El Plan covers an area of about 13 square kilometers. In 2020, about 36,080 people lived there.
The district has several smaller areas called localities. These include:
- La Guía, with 122 people, located in the northwest.
- Polígono de Santa Ana, home to 7,154 people.
- El Plan, where 220 people live.
- Los Gabatos, with 5,626 people, in the southwest.
- Barriada Hispanoamérica, also in the southwest, with 3,865 people.
- Los Dolores, located in the southern part, with 7,751 people.
- Urbanización Castillitos, in the south, with 1,384 people.
- Los Barreros, also in the south, with 7,030 people.
- Barriada Cuatro Santos, in the southeast, with 2,573 people.
El Plan is very close to the main city of Cartagena. It connects directly with the northern areas of the San Antonio Abad district.
