Eleni Randou or Helen Rantou (Greek: Ελένη Ράντου) is a famous Greek actress. She was born in 1963 in Egaleo, a suburb of Athens, Greece. Eleni studied acting at the National Theater of Greece.
She started her career on Greek national television in the 1980s. She became very popular through TV shows where she was the main star. Sometimes, she even helped write the scripts for these shows! Eleni is married to the well-known Greek rock singer Vasilis Papakonstantinou. Their daughter, Nikoleta, was born in 1995. Today, Eleni Randou is in charge of the "Diana" theater. In 2009, she created a new comedy show for the "Diana" theater. This show later became a TV comedy series called Ergazomeni Gynaika (Working Woman).
Her Early Acting Days
Eleni Randou made her first TV appearance in 1983. She was 20 years old at the time. Her first big role was in a TV show called "Ouranio Toxo," which means "Rainbow." In the same year, she also appeared in another TV show, "I Kiria Ntoremi," playing a character named Eleftheria.
She continued to act in many TV shows during the 1980s. Some of these included "Paramithia piso apo ta kagkela" in 1984 and "Xaire Taso Karataso" in 1985. She also appeared in "Apodrasi" in 1987 and "Stavrosi horis anastasi" in 1988. These early roles helped her become a well-known face on Greek television.

One of her most famous TV roles was as Eleni Vlachaki in the series Konstantino's & Eleni's. This show ran from 1998 to 2000 and was very popular. She also starred in What Soul Will You Deliver, You Fool Woman? in 2000-2001. Later, she played Bia Bekou in Saturday-born from 2003 to 2004. Her show Working Woman (2009-2010) was also a big hit.
In movies, Eleni Randou made her debut in 1983 in a film called Rematch. She also starred in Knock out in 1986. In 2009, she acted in the movie I die for you, and she also helped write the script for it.
