Elijah McCall (born March 3, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois) is an American former heavyweight boxer. He is the son of Oliver McCall, who was also a famous heavyweight boxing champion.
Early life
When Elijah was younger, he was a talented football player. He was a star running back at Bassett High School in Virginia. He even had a scholarship offer to play football at James Madison University. However, Elijah decided to follow in his father's footsteps and chose to pursue a career in boxing instead of football.
Boxing career
Elijah McCall had a professional boxing career with a total of 16 fights. He won 12 of these fights, with 11 of his wins coming by knockout. He lost 3 fights, all by knockout or technical knockout, and had 1 draw.
One notable fight was against Dieuly Aristilde. Elijah started strong, knocking his opponent down twice in the first round. However, in a surprising turn, Elijah was knocked out himself in the fourth round.
