Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren (born 1 January 1980) is a Swedish former model and nanny. She was married to famous professional golfer Tiger Woods. They were married from 2004 until their divorce in 2010.

Early Life and Education
Elin Nordegren was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her mother, Barbro Holmberg, is a politician. She used to be a minister for migration and asylum policy in Sweden. She was also the Governor of Gävleborg County. Elin's father, Thomas Nordegren, is a radio journalist. He worked as a bureau chief in Washington, D.C. Elin has an older brother named Axel. She also has a twin sister named Josefin.
Elin and her sister worked summer jobs as cashiers. They did this to help pay for their studies. Elin started modeling in 2000. She appeared on the cover of Cafe Sport magazine that summer.
In May 2014, Elin graduated from Rollins College. This college is in Winter Park, Florida. She earned a degree in psychology. She also received an award for being an outstanding senior student.

Meeting Tiger Woods
Elin Nordegren once worked in a clothing store in Stockholm. There, she met Mia Parnevik. Mia is the wife of Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik. Mia hired Elin to be an au pair for their children. An au pair is like a live-in nanny. This job meant Elin moved to the U.S. full-time.
Elin met Tiger Woods during the 2001 Open Championship. Tiger had wanted to meet her for a year. At that time, Elin was dating someone else. Mia Parnevik said Elin was not interested in Tiger at first. Many other single golfers wanted to meet her too. Elin hoped to become a child psychologist back then.
Marriage and Children
In November 2003, Tiger Woods proposed to Elin. They were at a luxury game reserve in South Africa. They got married in October 2004. The wedding took place in Barbados. Tiger rented the entire resort for a week. This included golf courses and many rooms.
In 2007, Elin and Tiger had their first child. It was a daughter named Sam Alexis. In September 2008, they announced they were expecting another child. Elin gave birth to a son, Charlie Axel, in 2009.
Divorce and New Beginnings
Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods finalized their divorce. This happened on August 23, 2010. The divorce took place in Florida. Elin's sister, Josefin, helped with the legal process. Josefin is a lawyer in England and Sweden.
After the divorce, Elin bought a large mansion in Florida. It was built in the 1920s. An architect suggested it was better to rebuild the house. This was to make it safe from hurricanes. Before tearing it down, Elin let Habitat for Humanity salvage items. Habitat for Humanity is a group that builds homes for people in need. They took anything valuable from the house. These items were then sold at an auction. This included a large fountain and kitchen appliances.
Later Relationships
In 2011, Elin was in a relationship with Jamie Dingman. He is an American businessman. This relationship lasted less than a year. From 2013 to 2017, she dated American entrepreneur Chris Cline.
In June 2019, it was announced Elin was expecting a child. The father was former National Football League player Jordan Cameron. Elin gave birth to a son named Arthur in October 2019. In December 2022, she had their second child, a daughter. The couple also has a third child together.
