Elisa Meneghini (born on 24 July 1997 in Como, Italy) is an amazing Italian artistic gymnast. She is a key member of the Italian national women's artistic gymnastics team. In 2014, she became the Italian champion in the all-around competition, floor exercise, and balance beam.

When she was a junior gymnast, Elisa won a silver medal with her team at the 2012 European Championships. She also earned a bronze medal on the balance beam at the same event. Elisa even competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio!

She is known for being the first Italian gymnast to perform a "full twisting back layout" on the balance beam. This is a very difficult move! Elisa, along with her teammates Carlotta Ferlito and Sophia Campana, became famous in Italy because of a reality show called Ginnaste - Vite parallele [it], which aired on MTV Italia.

Elisa has had a fantastic career filled with many achievements. She has competed in many important events around the world.

Early Success

Even as a young gymnast, Elisa showed great talent. In 2011, she won gold medals at the 9th International City of Lugano Trophy in the all-around, balance beam, and floor exercise. She also won a gold medal with her team at the European Youth Olympic Festival that year.

Junior European Championships

In 2012, at the European Junior Championships, Elisa and her team won a silver medal. She also won a bronze medal on the balance beam, showing her skill on this challenging apparatus.

Becoming an Italian Champion

The year 2014 was a big one for Elisa. She became the Italian National Champion in three different events: the all-around, balance beam, and floor exercise. This showed she was one of the best gymnasts in Italy! She also helped her team win gold at the Novara Cup.

International Competitions

Elisa has also won medals at international events like the City of Jesolo Trophy. She won silver with her team in 2014 and 2015. In 2018, she won a gold medal on the floor exercise at the FIG World Cup in Doha, which is a very important international competition.

Elisa's hard work and talent have made her a celebrated gymnast in Italy and around the world.
