Elisabetta Canalis (born September 12, 1978) is a famous Italian actress, model, and TV presenter. She is well-known for her work on Italian television shows and for her modeling career.

Early Life

Elisabetta Canalis was born in Sassari, a city on the island of Sardinia in Italy. Her father, Cesare, worked as a radiologist, and her mother, Bruna, was a teacher. She has a brother named Luigi.

Elisabetta went to high school in Sassari. Later, she moved to Milan to study foreign languages at the University of Milan. However, she started working as a dancer for a TV channel called Canale 5 when she was 21. Because of this, she did not finish her university studies.

She also co-hosted the Festivalbar music festival in 2007. In 2009, she hosted the Italian version of Total Request Live on MTV Italia. She also hosted the Trofeo Birra Moretti in 2008, which is a summer football competition.

In 2010, Elisabetta appeared in the American TV series Leverage. A big moment in her career was co-hosting the important Sanremo Music Festival in February 2011. She hosted alongside Gianni Morandi and Belen Rodriguez. During the festival, she even interviewed the famous actor Robert De Niro.

Elisabetta Canalis married American orthopedic surgeon Brian Perri on September 14, 2014. Their wedding took place in Alghero, Sardinia. During the ceremony, Italian singer Bianca Atzei sang a traditional Sardinian song.

On September 29, 2015, Elisabetta and Brian welcomed their daughter, Skyler Eva. In July 2023, Elisabetta shared that she and Brian had separated.
