Elizabeth Dean Lail (born March 25, 1992) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in popular TV shows and movies. Elizabeth played Anna in the fantasy series Once Upon a Time. She also starred as Guinevere Beck in the thrilling Netflix series You. You might also recognize her from the horror films Countdown and Five Nights at Freddy's.

Early Life and Education
Elizabeth Lail was born in Williamson County, Texas. She grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina. When she was 14, she found her passion for acting. This happened after she had a small part in a local play called Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
After finishing high school in 2010, Elizabeth went to college. She studied drama at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She earned her degree in May 2014.
Acting Career
Starting Out in Acting
While in college from 2011 to 2014, Elizabeth worked on student short films. Some of these films included Model Airplane and Without. After graduating, she moved to New York City. She hoped to find work in theater.
Breakthrough Roles
Elizabeth soon got an audition for the TV show Once Upon a Time. She was chosen to play the character of Anna in the show's fourth season, which aired in 2014.
In 2016, Elizabeth took on a main role in the horror series Dead of Summer. She played Amy, a camp counselor.
Popular TV Shows and Movies
In 2017, Elizabeth was cast in the TV series You. She played Guinevere Beck alongside actors Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell. The show was released in 2018. For her role, Elizabeth was nominated for an award. She also made guest appearances in later seasons of You.
Elizabeth played the main character, Quinn Harris, in the 2019 horror movie Countdown.
Recent Projects
In March 2021, Elizabeth was chosen for the main role of Mack in the comedy film Mack & Rita. She starred with Diane Keaton in this movie. Around the same time, she joined the cast of the HBO Max teen drama Gossip Girl. She had a recurring role as Lola Morgan. She also joined the NBC drama series Ordinary Joe.
In January 2023, Elizabeth was cast as Vanessa in the movie Five Nights at Freddy's. This film is based on a popular video game. It was released in October 2023 and was very successful.
Personal Life
In April 2021, Elizabeth Lail married Nieku Manshadi. Their wedding took place at Hasbrouck House in Stone Ridge, New York.
