Elizabeth Dean Lail (born May 6, 1992) is an American actress. She is known for playing Anna in the fantasy TV show Once Upon a Time. She also played Guinevere Beck in the Netflix series You. In movies, she starred in the horror films Countdown and Five Nights at Freddy's.

Early Life
Elizabeth Lail was born in Williamson County, Texas. She grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina. She became interested in acting when she was 14 years old. This happened after she had a small part in a play called Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
After finishing Asheboro High School in 2010, she went to college. She studied drama at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She earned her degree in May 2014.
Career Highlights
While in college from 2011 to 2014, Lail worked on student short films. After graduating, she moved to New York City. She wanted to act in plays.
Breaking into TV
She got an audition for the ABC show Once Upon a Time. She was chosen to play Anna in the fourth season of the series in 2014.
In 2016, Lail got a main role in the Freeform horror series Dead of Summer. She played a camp counselor named Amy.
Starring in You
In 2017, Lail was cast in the TV series You. This show was on Lifetime and Netflix. She played Guinevere Beck alongside Penn Badgley.
The show came out in 2018. Lail was nominated for an award for her role. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Streaming Presentation at the 45th Saturn Awards. Lail also appeared as Guinevere Beck in later seasons of You.

In April 2021, Elizabeth Lail married Nieku Manshadi. He is a dentist. Their wedding took place in Stone Ridge, New York.
