Elle Duncan was born on April 12, 1983. She is a well-known American sports anchor who works for ESPN. She has worked in radio and television for many years.

Elle Duncan's Career

Starting in Atlanta

Elle Duncan began her career in Atlanta, Georgia. She started as an intern for a sports talk radio show called 2 Live Stews. After a year, she joined The Ryan Cameron Show on radio station V-103.

While at V-103, Elle was a traffic reporter and an on-air personality. She even hosted her own afternoon show in 2009. Later, she reported on sports for the morning show. She also worked with the Atlanta Falcons radio team. She was a sideline reporter for the Atlanta Hawks basketball team. Elle also reported on college football games for Comcast Sports South. In 2012, she became a traffic reporter for NBC station WXIA-TV.

Moving to Boston

In 2014, Elle Duncan moved to NESN in Boston. She worked as an anchor, reporter, and host. She co-hosted a show called NESN Live with Sarah Davis. This show gave updates from reporters and game analysis.

While at NESN, Elle also reported from the sidelines for the Boston Red Sox baseball team. She hosted coverage of Super Bowl XLIX. This was a big football game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

Joining ESPN

Elle Duncan joined ESPN on April 27, 2016. She became an anchor for SportsCenter. Today, she hosts the 6 PM ET edition of SportsCenter on weekdays. She often hosts with Kevin Negandhi.

In 2014, Elle Duncan appeared in a movie called Ride Along. She played the role of a news reporter in the film.

Helping Others

Elle Duncan cares about helping her community. She has worked with Walker, a group that helps children and young people. This group focuses on special education and mental health. Two years earlier, she had a conversation with Bryant at an ESPN event. He told her, "I'm a girl dad." This meant he was proud to have daughters. Elle's story touched many people. It started a national trend with the hashtag "#GirlDad". Many dads shared pictures and stories about their daughters using this hashtag.
