Ellen Muth (born March 6, 1981) is an American actress who is famous for her role as Georgia "George" Lass in the TV series Dead Like Me. She also starred in the movie based on the show. Ellen Muth started acting in 1993 and continued until 2013.

Early Life and Learning
Ellen Muth was born in Milford, Connecticut. Her parents are Eric and Rachel Muth.
When she was younger, Ellen was part of Intertel and Mensa. These are groups for people with very high IQs. She also learned how to race cars at the Skip Barber Racing School. She studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.
Ellen Muth's Acting Career
Ellen Muth first worked as a model for a short time. After that, she decided to become an actress. She started by doing commercials in 1993.
Her first big movie role was in 1995. It was in a film called Dolores Claiborne. Later, she appeared in an episode of the popular TV show Law & Order.
In 1999, Ellen Muth was in the movie The Young Girl and the Monsoon. Critics really liked her acting in this film. They said she was great at playing a character who could be sweet one moment and then very sarcastic the next.
