Ellis Narrington Burton (born August 12, 1936 – died October 1, 2013) was an American professional baseball player. He was a center fielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB). Ellis played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, and Chicago Cubs.
He was a switch-hitter, meaning he could bat from both the right and left sides of home plate. He threw the ball with his right hand. Ellis Burton was born in Los Angeles, California.
