Growing Up and School

Eloise Mumford grew up in Olympia, Washington. She was the middle child of Tom Mumford and Nancy Smith. For her early school years, she was taught at home until fifth grade.

After that, she went to Nova Middle School. She also attended Annie Wright Schools and Capital High School. She has an older sister named Anna and a younger brother named Kai.

When she was seven, Eloise was inspired by a play called South Pacific. This made her want to act. She performed in high school plays and at a local theater called Capital Playhouse.

In 2009, she graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also studied at the Atlantic Acting School. While in college, she acted in a short film called "Some Boys Don't Leave." She also worked as an understudy for Elisabeth Moss in a Broadway play.

Eloise Mumford started her acting career in 2008. She quickly landed roles in TV shows. In 2010, she was cast in the Fox series Lone Star. This was during her first tryout season after college.
