Emanuel Berg (born 28 December 1981) is a talented chess player from Sweden. He holds the highest title in chess, a Grandmaster. Emanuel Berg has also won the Swedish Chess Championship two times.

Becoming a Chess Grandmaster
Emanuel Berg started playing chess at a young age. He quickly showed great skill. He was chosen to represent Sweden in important youth chess tournaments. These included the European Youth and World Youth Championships.
Early Chess Journey
Even though he didn't win a medal, he came very close. In 1996, at the European Under-16 contest, he tied for second place. He just missed out on a medal because of tie-break rules.
