Emi Nitta (新田 恵海, Nitta Emi, born December 10, 1985) is a talented Japanese voice actress and singer. She comes from Nagano Prefecture in Japan. Emi Nitta works with a company called Difference.

She became a voice actress after doing well in an audition. This audition was held by a talent agency called S-inc. Later, on September 1, 2017, she officially joined Difference. Emi Nitta is well-known for her roles as Honoka Kōsaka in the popular series Love Live!. She also voices Tokoha Anjō in Cardfight!! Vanguard G. Her first role in an anime was Ricca Morizono in Da Capo III. She even visited Bangkok Comic Con in July 2014.

Emi Nitta's Career Journey

Starting as a Solo Singer

In September 2014, Emi Nitta began her journey as a solo singer. She released her very first single, which is a song released on its own. This was an exciting new step in her career.

Taking a Break for Her Voice

In February 2015, Emi Nitta's agency announced that she would take a two-month break. This was to get treatment for a small problem with her vocal cords, called vocal cord polyps. These are tiny growths that can affect a singer's voice. She received treatment that didn't require surgery. Emi Nitta was able to return to her work by mid-April, feeling much better.
