Emily started her art journey at University College, Reading. After that, she went to several other art schools. She studied art in Leicester, Harrogate, and Leamington Spa. Emily also took special lessons from a famous miniature painter. His name was Arthur Lindsay, and he taught her in London.

Emily Creswell's artwork was shown in many important places. She exhibited her paintings with several well-known art groups. These included the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
