About Emily Huws

Emily Huws was born in a place called Tyddyn Llwyni, near Caernarfon, in Wales. She still lives there today! She went to school at Ysgol Gynradd Waunfawr and Caernarfon Grammar School. Later, she studied at Bangor University.

Besides writing her own original stories, Emily Huws also adapts books from other languages into Welsh. One of her well-known adaptations is Y Bachgen Mewn Pyjamas. This book is the Welsh version of John Boyne's famous story, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. It was published in September 2009.
