Emmanuel Addoquaye Pappoe (born on March 3, 1981, in Accra, Ghana) is a former professional footballer. He played as a defender. He was known for his strong defense on the field.

Playing for Clubs
Emmanuel Pappoe started his football journey in his home city of Accra. Before joining AEK Larnaca in 2007, he played for several teams in the Israeli Premier League.
Teams in Israel
Pappoe spent two seasons with F.C. Ashdod from 2003 to 2005. After that, he played for Hapoel Kfar Saba from 2005 to 2007. He also played for Hapoel Haifa until December 2009. In 2010, he left Beitar Shimshon Tel Aviv and went back to his first club, Liberty Professionals F.C..
Playing for Ghana
Pappoe also represented his country, Ghana, in international football. He was part of the Ghanaian team that played in the 2004 Olympic football tournament. The team finished third in their group and did not move past the first round.
World Cup Appearance
His hard work helped him get called up to the senior national team. He played his first game for Ghana on October 19, 2002, against Sierra Leone.
He was chosen to play for Ghana in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He played in two of Ghana's four matches in the tournament. Ghana, who were not expected to go far, played well but lost to the strong team Brazil in the Round of 16.
