Enamul Haque (Bengali: এনামুল হক), born on December 5, 1986, is a Bangladeshi cricket player. He is also known as Enamul Haque Jr to tell him apart from another cricketer named Enamul Haque. They are not related.
Enamul Haque plays for his home team, Sylhet Division. He also plays for Prime Bank Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman. This means he holds the bat with his right hand. He bowls a "slow left-arm orthodox" delivery. This is a type of bowling where the ball spins from left to right for a right-handed batsman.
He played his first international Test match against England in Dhaka in 2003. In 2004, the Bangladesh Cricket Board gave him his first "rookie contract." This was a special contract for new players.

Playing for Teams in Bangladesh
Enamul Haque has achieved many milestones in his career. In December 2005, he got his 100th "first-class wicket." This happened when he got Rafiqul Islam out during a match. In November 2007, he reached 200 first-class wickets. He got Imrul Kayes out in a match against Khulna Division.
Bangladesh Premier League
In 2012, the Bangladesh Cricket Board started a new tournament called the Bangladesh Premier League. This was a fast-paced Twenty20 cricket event. Teams bought players in an auction. Enamul Haque was bought by the Chittagong Kings for $55,000. He took 13 wickets in 9 matches. After this, he was chosen to play for Bangladesh in the 2012 Asia Cup. In November 2019, he played for the Chattogram Challengers in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.
More Milestones
After a few years, Enamul Haque started taking many wickets again. In November 2011, he took two "five-wicket hauls" against Dhaka Metropolis. This means he took five wickets in an innings twice in one match. He ended that match with 10 wickets for 77 runs. This helped his team win.
On December 21, 2011, he became the first Bangladeshi bowler to get 300 first-class wickets. This happened in a match against Khulna Division. In November 2021, he reached an even bigger milestone. He took his 500th first-class wicket during the 2021–22 National Cricket League.
International Matches
In January 2005, Zimbabwe visited Bangladesh for cricket matches. Bangladesh won their first-ever Test match during this series. Enamul Haque played a big part in this win. He took 6 wickets for only 45 runs in one part of the match. This was a new record for the best bowling figures for Bangladesh in Test matches at the time.
The second Test match ended in a draw. This meant Bangladesh won their first Test series! In that match, Enamul Haque took 7 wickets for 95 runs. This broke his own record for best bowling figures. He took 12 wickets in total in that match. At just 18 years and 40 days old, he became the youngest bowler ever to take ten wickets in a Test match. He broke the record set by Wasim Akram from Pakistan.
Return to One Day Internationals
Enamul Haque returned to the One Day International (ODI) team in 2009. This was after not playing for three years. He was chosen to play against Zimbabwe and in a special series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. He was picked because the main spinner, Abdur Razzak, was not available. Also, Enamul had a good history against Zimbabwe.
In October 2009, Zimbabwe visited Bangladesh again. In one match, Enamul Haque had his best bowling performance in ODIs. He took 3 wickets for only 16 runs. He also got his 50th wicket in "List A cricket" when he got Elton Chigumbura out. In December, Enamul Haque was one of 13 players to get a special one-year contract with the Bangladesh Cricket Board. However, his contract was not renewed in November 2010.
