Endeavour Group Ltd (often called EG) is a big Australian company. It sells alcoholic drinks and also runs hotels. It was created in 2019 from the Woolworths Group.

How Endeavour Group Started

In 2019, Woolworths changed how it managed its drinks business. It created the Endeavour Group as a separate company. In June 2021, Endeavour Group became its own company on the Australian Securities Exchange. This means its shares can be bought and sold by the public.

In April 2023, Endeavour Group invested $3 million in a company called Fortress. Fortress is involved in esports, which are organized video game competitions.

In August 2023, a group called the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission fined one of Endeavour's companies, Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group. They were fined $550,000 for not having special technology installed on their gaming machines. This technology helps make sure rules are followed.

In September 2024, Steve Donohue, who was the Chief Executive Officer, left his job. In April 2025, it was announced that Jayne Hrdlicka would be the new CEO. She used to be the CEO of Virgin Australia. Jayne Hrdlicka is set to start her new role on January 1, 2026. Currently, Kate Beattie is the Interim CEO.
