Endurance Idahor (born August 4, 1984 – died March 6, 2010) was a talented Nigerian professional football player. He was known for playing as a striker, which means he was a forward player whose main job was to score goals. He played for a club in Sudan called Al-Merreikh. Sadly, Endurance Idahor passed away during a football game in 2010.

Endurance Idahor's Football Journey
Endurance Idahor started his professional football career in Nigeria. In 2003, he played for a team called Julius Berger. He was a fantastic scorer that year, tying for the top goal-scorer award in the Nigeria Premier League with 12 goals!
After his success, he moved to another Nigerian club, Dolphins FC, in 2005. His talent was noticed, and in 2006, he moved to Sudan to play for Al-Merreikh. This was a big step in his career.
Playing for Al-Merreikh and Loan Spell
While at Al-Merreikh, Endurance Idahor was a very important player. On February 23, 2006, he officially joined the club. In January 2008, he went on loan for seven months to a club in the United Arab Emirates called Al Nasr. A loan means he played for a different team temporarily.
When he returned to Al-Merreikh, he became even more crucial to the team. He was their top scorer, helping them reach the final of the CAF Confederation Cup. This was a huge achievement for the club, as it was their first time in such a final since 1989.
International Play
Endurance Idahor also represented his home country, Nigeria. He played for the Nigeria U-23 national football team. This team is for players under 23 years old, often seen as a stepping stone to the senior national team.
His Final Game
On March 6, 2010, Endurance Idahor was playing in a league game for Al-Merreikh. During the match, he collapsed. He was quickly taken to the hospital, but sadly, he passed away on the way.
