Eno Barony, whose real name is Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, is a talented Ghanaian rapper and songwriter. She was born in Tema, Ghana, on October 30, 1991. Eno Barony became famous in 2014. This happened after she released her first songs, "Wats Ma Name" and "Tonga." "Tonga" was a remix of a popular song by Joey B and Sarkodie. She is also known for being the first Ghanaian female rapper to get one million views on YouTube.

Early Life and School
Eno Barony's full name is Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom. She was born in Tema, a big port city in Ghana. Her parents are Reverend Abraham Nyame Adom and Mrs. Rebecca Nyame Adom.
Eno started her education at Shallom Preparatory School. Then she went to Cambridge Academy for her early elementary years. She finished Junior High School at Methodist J.H.S. For her senior high school, she attended Methodist Day Secondary School in Tema. Later, she studied at Kumasi Polytechnic.
Her Music Journey
Eno Barony had recorded some songs before, but she became widely known in 2014. This was when her song "Tonga" was played a lot on the radio. After that, she made more music.
In 2015, she released "Megye Wo Boy" with Abrewa Nana. Sadly, her mother passed away that same year. After a time of sadness, Eno returned with a hip hop song called "The Best." For this song, she worked with Mic Flammez, a famous artist from Togo.
In 2016, she recorded "Daawa" with Shatta Wale. That same year, she teamed up with rapper Kwaw Kese on a song called "GARI." She also worked with Stonebwoy on "Touch the Body" and Medikal on "King of Queens." In 2017, she released "Juice Me." Later, she made another song, "Obiaa Ba Ny3," with Ebony Reigns.
Awards and Achievements
Eno Barony is known for her rapping skills. She also worked on a project called "Save Mama Today." She did this with other artists like Stay Jay and FlowKing Stone.
In 2014, she was nominated for an award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. She performed with famous artists like Popcaan at the Ghana Music Week. She also performed at the Closeup festival with Sarkodie. Her song with Mic Flammez was nominated for Best Hiphop video.
In 2020, Eno Barony won the Best Female Rap Act in Africa award at the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA). This was a big achievement for her.
In March 2021, she was named one of the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music. This was by the 3Music Awards Women's Brunch. She also won the 'Rapper of the Year' award at the 2021 3Music Awards. This made her the first female artist in Ghana to win this award. She also became the first Ghanaian female to win Best Rapper at the VGMA in 2021. She beat other top rappers like Sarkodie and Amerado.
