The community of Enola was founded by a person named T. J. Malone. He decided to name the place by taking part of his last name, "Malone," and spelling it backwards. If you spell "Malone" backwards, you get "EnolaM." He just took the "Enola" part! It's a unique way to name a place.
Enola's Post Office Days
For many years, Enola had its own post office. It first opened its doors in 1906. This was a really important place for the people living there. It was where they could send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for over 50 years before it closed down in 1959.
