Eric Herman (born Eric Herman Endres, June 14, 1969) is an American musician who creates fun songs for kids. He lives in Richland, Washington, United States. His music mixes different styles of rock with funny lyrics about things kids can relate to. He calls his music "cool tunes for kids." Some of his most popular songs include "The Elephant Song," "There's a Monster in My House," "Blackbeard, Bluebeard and Redbeard," and "Cowboy Bergaleoukaleopaleous."

Starting His Music Journey

Eric Herman used to play in rock bands in New York. He also performed as a singer and songwriter. In 2003, he wrote a funny musical play called A Week in the Life. It was very successful in Buffalo, New York.

Focusing on Kids' Music

After his first album for kids, The Kid in the Mirror, became popular, Eric decided to focus only on making music for children. He performs as Eric Herman and the Invisible Band. His second album, Monkey Business, was even more successful. A music review from Seattle called it "one of the best kids' records ever." Since then, he has released many more successful albums.

Cool Tunes for Kids Blog

From 2006 to 2010, Eric Herman ran a blog called "Cool Tunes for Kids." On this blog, he interviewed and featured other famous kids' music artists. Eric Herman and the Thunder Puppies

In 2011, Eric started performing with a live band called Eric Herman and the Thunder Puppies. The band members in 2015 were:

After Bubble Wrap was released, The Thunder Puppies band officially stopped performing together. This was due to scheduling problems. Eric still tours with Dave Pettey and Ben Macy as a three-person band.
