Eric Rohmann (born in 1957) is an amazing American author and illustrator of books for kids. He's known for his beautiful pictures and engaging stories. He even won a super important award called the Caldecott Medal in 2003 for his illustrations in the book My Friend Rabbit. He also won the Sibert Medal for Honeybee: The Busy Life of Apis Mellifera, which he illustrated.
Eric Rohmann studied at Illinois State University and Arizona State University. He started writing and illustrating books in 1994.

About Eric Rohmann
Eric Rohmann grew up with two siblings. He lives and works in Illinois. When he was a kid, he didn't read much. Instead, he loved to see the world in pictures. This love for images likely helped him become such a great illustrator!
He is married to Candace Fleming, who is also a children's book author. They have worked together on several projects, including the book Oh, No!. Eric enjoys coffee, popcorn, and art.
