Eric Lynch's Poker Journey
Starting Out
Before becoming a full-time poker player, Eric worked as an IT consultant. He played poker online using the names "Rizen" and "Snkybluffalo." You could often find him playing on websites like PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.
Big Wins and Achievements
Eric has had many impressive wins in his poker career. In 2006, he won a large online tournament on PokerStars. This tournament had a $1 million prize pool.
That same year, he did very well at the 2006 World Series of Poker. He finished 24th in the main event, which is a huge achievement. This earned him a prize of $494,000! He also came in 3rd place in another World Series of Poker event that year.
In 2007, Eric continued his success at the World Series of Poker. He placed 2nd in one event and 7th in another. In January 2008, he traveled to the European Poker Tour (EPT) in the Caribbean. There, he finished 26th and won $40,000.
Total Earnings
By 2010, Eric Lynch's total winnings from live poker tournaments were over $900,000. A big part of this money, about $839,410, came from his 12 times cashing in at the World Series of Poker.
