Erin Moriarty is an American actress born on June 24, 1994. She is widely recognized for her role as Annie January, also known as Starlight, in the popular TV series The Boys, which started in 2019. Erin Moriarty grew up in New York City. She started acting when she was just 11 years old. Her first role was playing Annie in a local theater play of Annie in 2005. After finishing high school, she decided to focus on her acting career instead of going straight to college.

She also appeared in the 2016 film Blood Father, starring Mel Gibson. Critics praised her performance as Gibson's daughter in this movie. Later that year, she was in the horror film Within. The Boys and Recent Projects
In December 2017, Erin Moriarty was cast in a lead role as Annie January, also known as Starlight, in The Boys. This series is based on a comic book and became very popular after its release in July 2019. The show's second season came out in September 2020, and the third season was released in June 2022.
In March 2024, Moriarty was cast in a new thriller movie called Lips Like Sugar, alongside actors like Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson. Filming for this movie began that same month.
