High School Basketball Journey
Erving Walker went to Christ the King High School in New York. When he was in his second year (sophomore season) in 2006, he was chosen for a special event called the Boost Mobile Elite24. This showed he was a talented young player.
College Basketball Career
Erving played college basketball for the Florida Gators team from 2008 to 2012. He was a point guard and wore the number 11 jersey.
College Achievements
During his final year in 2012, Erving was named to the All-SEC Second Team. He also set a record for the most assists in Florida's history with 547. This record was later broken in 2018. He is still the fourth highest scorer in Florida's history, with 1,777 points.
NCAA Tournament Play
In his senior year, the Florida Gators made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. This is a big achievement where teams compete to be the best in college basketball. The Gators played well but lost to Louisville in a close game.

Success in France
On June 23, 2014, he signed with JDA Dijon Basket for the 2014–15 season. He had a great season, averaging 17.6 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game in 37 French League games. Even with his strong performance, Dijon finished in 10th place and did not make the playoffs.
Playing in Turkey
On July 8, 2015, Walker signed a one-year contract with Büyükçekmece Basketbol in the Turkish Basketball Super League. He later returned to Büyükçekmece Basketbol for the 2017–18 season. During that season, he averaged 18.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. On July 6, 2018, Walker signed with Pınar Karşıyaka, another Turkish team.
Playing in France Again
Before his second time in Turkey, on July 25, 2016, Walker played for SIG Strasbourg in France for the 2016–17 season.
The Basketball Tournament
Erving Walker also played in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), which is an annual competition where teams compete for a large cash prize.

In 2017, Walker played for the Kentucky Kings. He averaged 20.0 points per game, helping his team reach the second round of the tournament.
TBT 2018
In 2018, Walker played for Team Fancy. In two games, he averaged 11.5 points, 2.5 assists, and 2 rebounds per game. Team Fancy also made it to the second round before being defeated.
