Estación Atlántida is a small town in southern Uruguay. It is like a northern suburb of the city of Atlántida. You can find it in the Canelones Department.

Geography
Location
Estación Atlántida is located on Route 11. This road is about 3 kilometers (about 2 miles) north of another important road. That road is called Ruta Interbalnearia. A train track also passes through the town. This track connects the capital city, Montevideo, with the city of Rocha.

Places of Worship
One of the most famous buildings in Estación Atlántida is the Parish Church of Christ the Worker and Our Lady of Lourdes. It is a Roman Catholic church. This church is very special because of its amazing design. It was built between 1958 and 1960 by a famous architect named Eladio Dieste. It is a wonderful example of modernist architecture.
