Etna is a small place in Clark County, Washington. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes or businesses that isn't officially a city or town. It doesn't have its own local government like a mayor or city council. Instead, it's usually managed by the county government.
History of Etna
Etna had a post office that opened in 1882. A post office is where people send and receive mail. This post office served the community for many years. It closed down in 1918.
The name "Etna" came from another place. It was named after a community called Etna Green, Indiana. This often happened in the past, as people moved and brought names from their old homes.
