The Eumsik dimibang (pronounced Um-sik Dee-mee-bang) is a very old and special Korean cookbook. It was written around the year 1670 by a noblewoman named Lady Jang (1598-1680). She lived in Gyeongsang Province during the Joseon Dynasty, which was a long time ago in Korea. This book is a handwritten copy, and it's written in hangul, the Korean alphabet.
