Eva Maria Noblezada (born March 18, 1996) is an American actress and singer. She is famous for her roles in musicals on the West End in London and Broadway in New York. She has won a Grammy Award and been nominated for two Tony Awards.
Eva Noblezada first became known for playing Kim in the London revival of Miss Saigon. For this role, she won a WhatsOnStage Award. She then played Éponine in Les Misérables in London. Later, she brought her role as Kim to Broadway, earning a Theatre World Award and a Tony Award nomination.
She starred as Eurydice in the original London and Broadway productions of Hadestown. This role earned her a Grammy Award and another Tony Award nomination. She also played Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby on Broadway. More recently, she joined the cast of Cabaret as Sally Bowles.
Beyond the stage, Noblezada has acted in films. She played Rose in Yellow Rose. She also voiced Sam in the animated movie Luck and appeared as Tala in Easter Sunday.

Early Life and Training
Eva Maria Noblezada was born on March 18, 1996, in San Diego, California. Her father is of Filipino background, and her mother is of Mexican descent. Her grandparents came from Maguindanao and Iloilo in the Philippines.
Her family later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. There, Eva attended the Northwest School of the Arts until she was 17. Her aunt, Annette Calud, was also an actress. She played Celina on Sesame Street and Kim in Miss Saigon on Broadway.
Starting Her Career
In 2013, Eva Noblezada was a finalist for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards. During the awards ceremony in New York City, she sang "With You" from the musical Ghost. A casting director noticed her performance.
This led to an audition for the famous producer Cameron Mackintosh. At just 17 years old, Eva was chosen for the main role of Kim in the London revival of Miss Saigon.
Success in London
In spring 2014, Eva left school to star in Miss Saigon in London. Her performance as Kim was highly praised. She won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical in 2015. She also performed a song from the show at the 2015 Laurence Olivier Awards.
After Miss Saigon finished its run in London, Eva took on another major role. From April to December 2016, she played Éponine in Les Misérables in London's West End.
In May 2016, Eva made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. She performed with Lea Salonga and The New York Pops. This was part of a celebration for the musical writers Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg.
Broadway Debut and Beyond
Eva Noblezada brought her role as Kim in Miss Saigon to Broadway. The show opened in New York on March 23, 2017. For her performance, Eva was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2017. At 21, she was one of the youngest nominees in that category.
In November 2018, Eva began playing Eurydice in the musical Hadestown in London. When the show moved to Broadway in April 2019, she continued in the role. She received her second Tony Award nomination for Hadestown. She also won a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Favorite Leading Actress in a Musical. Her final performance in Hadestown was on August 13, 2023.
Eva made her film debut in 2019 in Yellow Rose. She played the main character, Rose. She acted alongside Lea Salonga, who was the original Kim in Miss Saigon. The film was released in October 2020. In 2022, she appeared in the film Easter Sunday, which featured an all-Filipino cast.
In October 2023, Eva starred as Daisy Buchanan in the new musical The Great Gatsby. She performed with Jeremy Jordan as Gatsby. They both continued their roles when the show opened on Broadway in April 2024. Her last show in The Great Gatsby was on January 30, 2025.
In February and March 2025, Eva returned to London's West End for a limited run of Hadestown. She performed with her original Broadway co-stars, including Reeve Carney. The show was filmed during this time.
On March 31, 2025, Eva joined the Broadway revival of Cabaret. She took on the role of Sally Bowles for a limited time.
Personal Life
Eva Noblezada was married to English actor Leo Roberts from 2017 to 2019. Since 2019, she has been in a relationship with Broadway actor Reeve Carney. They starred together in Hadestown. The couple announced their engagement on March 14, 2025.
