Eva Maria Noblezada (born March 18, 1996) is an American actress and singer. She is famous for her work in musicals, especially on the West End in London and Broadway in New York. She has won a Grammy Award and been nominated for two Tony Awards.
Eva Noblezada first performed professionally as Kim in the London revival of Miss Saigon. For this role, she won a WhatsOnStage Award. She then played Éponine in Les Misérables in London. Later, she brought her role as Kim to Broadway, earning a Theatre World Award and a Tony Award nomination.
She also starred as Eurydice in the original London production of Hadestown. She continued this role on Broadway, which led to a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and another Tony Award nomination. On screen, Eva has appeared in films like Yellow Rose, Luck (as a voice actor), and Easter Sunday.

Early Life and First Steps
Eva Maria Noblezada was born on March 18, 1996, in San Diego, California. Her father, Jon, has Filipino family roots. Her mother, Angie, is of Mexican descent. Eva's family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she attended the Northwest School of the Arts.
Her aunt, Annette Calud, was also an actress. She played Celina on the TV show Sesame Street. She also played Kim in Miss Saigon on Broadway, just like Eva would later do.
A Star on Stage
On July 1, 2013, Eva Noblezada was a finalist in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards. During the ceremony in New York City, she sang "With You" from the musical Ghost. A casting director noticed her talent. This led to an audition for the musical Miss Saigon in London. Eva, who was 17 at the time, won the main role of Kim.
In 2014, Eva left school to star in Miss Saigon in London. Her performance as Kim earned her the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical in 2015. After Miss Saigon finished its run, Eva took on the role of Éponine in Les Misérables in London in April 2016.
Eva made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City on May 2, 2016. She performed "The Movie in My Mind" with Lea Salonga, another famous singer.
Broadway Success
Eva brought her role as Kim in Miss Saigon to Broadway in New York. The show opened on March 23, 2017. For her performance, Eva was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2017. At 21, she was one of the youngest nominees in that category.
In November 2018, Eva began playing Eurydice in the musical Hadestown in London. When the show moved to Broadway in April 2019, she continued in the role. This performance earned her a second Tony Award nomination. She also won the Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Favorite Leading Actress in a Musical. Eva played her last show as Eurydice on August 13, 2023.
Film and Future Roles
Eva Noblezada made her film debut in 2019 in Yellow Rose. She played the main character, Rose. She acted alongside Lea Salonga, who was the first actress to play Kim in Miss Saigon. The film was released in October 2020. In 2022, she also appeared in the film Easter Sunday, which featured many Filipino actors.
In October 2023, Eva starred as Daisy Buchanan in the new musical The Great Gatsby. She performed with Jeremy Jordan. Both actors continued their roles when the show opened on Broadway in April 2024.
Eva is set to return to London's West End in 2025 to play Eurydice again in Hadestown. She will perform with her original Broadway co-stars. In March 2025, she will also join the Broadway revival of Cabaret as Sally Bowles.
